Description
Live Online Professional Learning Session – March 8, 2021 at 6:30pm (eastern time). This session will be recorded and available for repeat viewing until the end of 2021.
Presented by: Jennifer Flight, Betsy Kaye, Amy Smith and Jeff Williams
Creating a networked improvement community across a large North American context is a journey in its early stages. Join members of the Reading Recovery Leadership Hub to learn how we are working collaboratively with the community to improve in a coordinated, disciplined way. An improvement science principle is what we need to “make the work problem-specific and user-centered”. All stakeholders: teachers, administrators, parents, teacher leaders, and trainers bring valued perspectives to problems and possibilities. Together, we will build a culture of continuous improvement within the Reading Recovery Community.
The Reading Recovery Leadership Hub is a group of leaders from across Canada and the US that has been actively collaborating to utilize improvement science as a research method to improve outcomes of Reading Recovery and other literacy interventions. Jennifer Flight, Jeff Williams, Betsy Kaye and Amy Smith will present this session as a panel of thought leaders to share their research and provide ways that you can implement improvement science to improve your classroom teaching or Reading Recovery work.
